World Pétanque Championship Benin 2023

World Pétanque Championship in singles, doubles and mixed, precision shotting and triplettes for the men was held last month of September 2023 in Cotonou, capital of Benin, west part of Africa.

The event was supported for Benin’s sport and political authorities and lead by the F.I.P.J.P. & the Fédération Béninoise de Pétanque.

It was a festive and exceptional 50th Edition. Even though the Worlds championship was postponed from December 2022 to September 2023 due to the delays in the construction of Cotonou international boulodrome. The Place de L'Amazone with 26 courts, including 2 squares of honor.

*** First Gold medal stayed at home for Benin : World Champion in Mixed Double ***
